Central Park Montessori

Central Park Montessori is the newest Twin Parks school, now entering its 13th year. Our ground and first floor corner location on West 91st Street at Central Park West overlooks Central Park, and provides a natural backdrop to our beautiful and light-filled classrooms. Our teachers and children balance their work in our well-appointed classroom environments with daily well-supervised neighborhood walks or visits to the Park to explore nature, enjoy the fresh air, and to have fun in the nearby playgrounds.

With special attention given to incorporating music and fine arts into our Montessori approach, Central Park Montessori School is accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools (MSCES), and is a member of the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY), and the Parents League.

Our lead teachers are Montessori certified, have ongoing and extensive training and experience in early childhood education, and are dedicated, loyal, and caring Montessori and early childhood educators.
