Description

Community Montessori School was founded in 1981 by a group of 13 families who wanted to bring Montessori education to the Georgetown area.

The school moved to its current 18-acre campus in 2001 and now provides Montessori programs for children from 15 months up to 15 years.

CMS is a non-profit, tax-exempt private school governed by a Board of Directors. Since our beginnings, we have been affiliated with AMI (The Association Montessori International), which is the organization founded by Dr. Montessori to ensure the continuity of her educational method.
