Golden Mountain Montessori follows the teaching philosophy and methods made popular by Maria Montessori, which are respected, loved, and proven in cultures around the world.
A key tenant of Montessori curricula is the ‘cohort’, which creates ‘normalization’. This means that a child is happy and well-adjusted within a peer group of slightly older and younger children. This foundation creates the emotional stability, confidence, and leadership opportunities that make Montessori children well-rounded early achievers.
Because of the significance of the cohort, we only offer full-day schedule options, in an attempt to strike a balance between staffing budgets, facility size, and our educational philosophy.
