Lake Montessori has served the Leebsurg area as the only Montessori school in the area for the last 30 years. It has gone through a few different owners over the years. Hugo Hormazabal Sr. purchased the school in 2011. He comes from a long line of school administrators, school owners, and teachers. Over the last 63 years, his family has been involved with over 30 charter schools in Chile in the more urban parts of Santiago.

Lake Montessori has undergone many changes to improve the classrooms to update the Montessori materials, to clean up the building, and the surrounding 3 1/2 acres. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by so many strong educators with a clear vision for our school.
