Concord Montessori School

A child arrives at Concord Montessori and is welcomed warmly, with grace and courtesy. The child is led into a beautifully prepared environment and is celebrated and encouraged as they independently develop at their own pace. Their teachers foster independence, a love of learning and a positive sense of self by encouraging the child to adopt an “I can do it” attitude that will touch all aspects of their life.

As an alumni parent wrote at the conclusion of the 2017-18 school year, “Our daughter talks about Concord Montessori School as if it is a kind of magical kingdom, where her wildest questions were answered, her eccentricities explored, and her dreams affirmed. Our daughter will enter elementary school thriving academically, but much more importantly, the school and its marvelous teachers contributed mightily to the grounded, self-confident, adventurous little person that she is becoming. Concord Montessori was founded by a group of parents in 1974 and has served families from Concord and surrounding areas continuously for over 40 years. CMS is an incorporated nonprofit corporation and is an active member of the Montessori Schools of Massachusetts.
